Angelus Exacto – Intraradicular Conical Fiber Post System
The Angelus Exacto is a precision-engineered intraradicular conical fiber post designed for optimal adaptation to tapered root canals. Its innovative double-taper geometry and 17mm length ensure a minimal cement layer, superior retention, and reduced risk of root fracture – all in a single clinical session.
Key Features
- Double Taper Design: Fills tapered canals precisely with minimal cement thickness
- Standardized Bur with Inactive Tip: Exactly reproduces post diameter; eliminates risk of accidental perforation
- Special 17mm Size: Fills the canal entirely, preventing future post displacement
- Color-Coded Identification: Color coding on post and bur prevents size errors during preparation
- Delimiting Latex Cursor: Marks cutting area and identifies post numbering for precision
- Optimal Translucency: Innovative fiber + polymer matrix delivers excellent light transmission for aesthetic restorations
Clinical Benefits
- Precise calibration matched to kit burs – very thin cement layer
- Excellent radiographic visualization
- Matches root canal shape for superior retention
- Lower risk of root fracture vs. metal posts
- Single-session post & core build-up – eliminates lab steps and costs
- Easy removal when required
- Suitable for most clinical cases
Indications
- Intraradicular retention for endodontically treated teeth
- Post & core build-up prior to crown restoration
- Anterior and posterior teeth with sufficient remaining tooth structure
Precautions
- For professional dental use only
- Do not use in canals with active infection or insufficient root length
- Follow manufacturer’s torque and cementation guidelines
- Single-use posts – do not reuse
