Xcem Osspore Collagen Membranes are advanced surgical biomaterials designed to protect bone fillers and enhance healing. Composed of purified bovine-derived collagen in its native triple-helix format, these membranes are pre-hydrated and feature a multi-layer mesh that resists soft tissue infiltration while preventing bacterial growth.
They maintain barrier functionality for 4-6 months and are resistant to degradation for 3-5 weeks, providing excellent handling properties and biocompatibility. Ideal for post-extraction socket rebuilds, the membranes can be cut to fit various wound sizes and convert to a soft gel sheet that remains in close contact with the wound bed.
Enhanced with antimicrobial silver, Collagen Membranes support cellular growth and manage wound moisture, making them suitable for both acute and chronic wounds.
Key Specifications
- Made from purified bovine-derived collagen in its native triple-helix format, membrane enhances cellular growth and tissue regeneration.
- The membrane is pre-hydrated, making it ready for immediate use and ensuring optimal flexibility and adaptability when applied to the wound site.
- The membrane expands and thickens upon contact with moisture, allowing it to conform precisely to the wound or bone cavity and ensure a snug, secure fit.
- Easy to handle and apply, the membrane adapts well to the contours of the wound or defect, and adheres effectively to bone surfaces, making it user-friendly for clinical application.
- Promotes rapid bone formation and integration due to its porous structure and collagen content, making it particularly effective for post-extraction socket rebuilds and other bone regeneration procedures.
- Can be cut to fit various sizes and shapes of acute or chronic wounds, and layered if necessary, to manage both light and heavy exudates.
