The iDENTical Study Model is a meticulously designed dental teeth model that accurately represents a 4-stage molar root canal treatment procedure. This three-dimensional model features proportional magnification and comes with a clear acrylic base, measuring approximately 2 inches in height, 4.1 inches in width, and 1 inch in depth. It is important to note that the color and size of each individual model may vary slightly.
The model showcases the progressive stages of a root canal treatment, providing a visual representation of the procedure to help patients better understand and visualize the steps involved. It begins with tooth decay that has reached the pulp and inflamed the alveolar bone, highlighting the importance of early intervention. The subsequent stages depict the cleaning and shaping of the root canal after thorough preparation, followed by the filling and sealing of the canal with temporary filling material. The model further demonstrates the removal of the temporary filling and the placement of a cast post within the canal before resin restoration. Finally, a removable crown is depicted, signifying the completion of the root canal treatment and the reduction of inflammation. The iDENTical Study Model serves as a valuable educational tool for dental professionals to effectively communicate the intricacies of a molar root canal procedure to their patients. It can be used alongside the patient's X-ray images to provide a comprehensive understanding of the treatment process and its outcomes
