GC Gold Label 9 is a high-strength strontium-based glass ionomer restorative cement engineered for posterior teeth. It combines the proven biocompatibility of genuine glass ionomers with physical properties strong enough to withstand occlusal stress in posterior restorations.

Key Science & Advantages

• Strontium-Based Glass: Provides excellent radiopacity and snapset characteristics. Strontium mimics calcium to form strontium hydroxyapatite and strontium fluoroapatite, promoting internal remineralization within tooth structure.
• Surface Strengthening Effect: In a calcium-rich environment (saliva), calcium ions diffuse into the glass ionomer surface, progressively strengthening the restoration over time.
• Consistent, Predictable Seal: Glossy surface post-mix confirms sufficient free polyacrylic acid for ion exchange. The resulting ion exchange zone chemically fuses the material to dentin and enamel for a durable, long-lasting seal.
