Product Description
SafeEndo IodoCure calcium hydroxide paste with iodoform is a highly-effective, radiopaque root canal filling material used in both temporary and permanent procedures. Its innovative formulation delivers strong antiseptic properties, thanks to iodoform, and maintains a high alkaline pH (12.8) for fast, durable bactericidal results. Over 99% of bacteria are killed within 48 hours following application, ensuring safer root canal outcomes and enhanced healing.
The calcium-containing filler stimulates hard tissue formation at the apex, supporting long-term restoration. Hydrophobic paste-forming components ensure smooth fluidity and adaptability inside the canal, creating a hermetic seal and protecting soft tissues. The material gradually hardens in the presence of canal moisture over 1–3 months but can be easily removed for retreatments. In primary teeth and cases of extruded material, IodoCure is safely resorbed.
IodoCure is delivered in a convenient syringe with an ultra-thin dispensing tip for precise direct application, eliminating the hassle and mess of manual mixing.
