Clinical Applications

• Pulp devitalization prior to pulp removal or amputation
• Preparation for root canal treatment

Directions for Use

• Remove carious infected dentine with a dental excavator
• Apply a 2mm ball of paste on or close to the pulp horn using a suitable instrument
• Fill with a temporary dressing (e.g. SafeEndo SmartTemp) without compressing the paste
• After devitalization (1–5 days), if pain has resolved, proceed with pulp extirpation and root canal treatment
• Close cap tightly after every use
